Arestin is a fast, easy and effective way to treat periodontal disease. It is the only locally administered antibiotic containing minocycline, an antibiotic shown to be very effective in eradicating the periodontal pathogens implicated in periodontitis. Arestin maintains therapeutic drug concentrations for at least 14 days, and the localized delivery provides an effective drug concentration right at the site of infection.
